Located in the heart of Constable Country in Dedham, this family-run luxury country house hotel has an award winning restaurant, a stunning traditional marquee and its own Talbooth Catering that is a skilful mixture of classic and modern cuisine. Le Talbooth has two rooms. The Weavers Room is perfect for an intimate wedding for up to 30 family and friends. If you are looking to entertain up to 80 people, theb The River Room provides the perfect setting. Larger wedding receptions and events can be held in the marquee, which can accommodate up to 160 people and is available between May and October. The marquee is positioned on the upper terrace by the riverside, ensuring you will have amazing views of the River Stour and surrounding countryside.

Cocktail DJ 

This will create the perfect atmosphere while photographs are being taken, drinks being poured and canapés being served. The immaculate lawn and garden area is the perfect setting for your drinks reception situated on the edge of the river. Your own personal DJ will to play music to suit your requirements. He will DJ in such a way that it will be perfectly mixed and seamless, playing through a discreet sound system. Popular selections and music we find works well are Modern Jazz, Smooth Grooves, Funk, Soul, Classic Remixes, Chill Out, Funky House (Hed Kandi), Smooth D&B and even Classical. This service is a perfect alternative to a string quartet or Jazz band. 

Complete Wedding DJ & Disco  

The stunning traditional marquee is also complete with a dance floor already laid, we areable to position our sound and lighting equipment along side. You will see from the pictures that our DJ can work from here to provide you with back ground music throughout your wedding breakfast and provide a microphone for your speeches. Our DJ’s are experienced and skilled to making sure that everybody will enjoy the complete mix of music played. He will play the correct styles of music to suit the atmosphere and time of night throughout the evening reception. You and your guests can be sure to party and celebrate the night away.

Up-lighting   

The marquee walls lend themselves for up-lighting to enhance that ‘wow’ factor. We can create a fantastic atmosphere, using these compact and tidy units. They can be carefully positioned to look great on the sides of doorways, along the main back wall and behind the DJ area.More details about the different types of up-Lighting we offer can be found in our price list.
